Abstract: 

In order to identify the CORRELATIONs and relationships between different traits in the bread wheat, 30 genotypes were investigated as sub-factors under the split plot experiment in the completely randomized design in greenhouse and the randomized complete block design in the field with three replications under the normal irrigation and post-anthesis water stress conditions. The results of the canonical CORRELATION ANALYSIS showed that at both normal and moisture stress levels, there was a significant CORRELATION between the pair of canonical variables obtained from the phenological traits and the yield components. Under the normal conditions in the greenhouse, to increase the spike density and length, the number of days to 50% flowering can be considered as a suitable selection criterion. According to the results of canonical CORRELATION ANALYSIS, under the stressed conditions in greenhouse, to increase the spike length, the number of days to the heading, maturity and 50% of flowering were among the important and effective factors. Under the optimum irrigation conditions in the field, the number of days to maturity was considered as one of the factors influencing the seed weight per spike. The results of canonical CORRELATION ANALYSIS under the field stress conditions showed that to increase the 1000-seed weight, the number of days to maturity can be considered an appropriate selection criterion.

Abstract: 

In order to study morphological traits, yield and yield components of 34 hybrids of corn, an experiment was carried out based on of randomized Complete Block Design with three replications under normal irrigation condition in Khorasan Razavi Agricultural Research and Natural Resources Center, Mashhad, Iran on 2009.Results of ANALYSIS of variance showed that there were significant differences between hybrids for all of traits. Results of hybrid means comparison showed that KSC500 hybrid was better than others in yield trait. Result of SIMPLE CORRELATION between traits showed that ear diameter and kernel depth had the highest CORRELATION with grain yield, respectively. In other to study relationship of traits in regression model with grain yield, path ANALYSIS showed that number of ear per plant had the highest direct and positive effect on grain yield. Principle component ANALYSIS was performed for corn hybrids. Seven components have been extracted, which describe 85% of traits variations. Also factor ANALYSIS (with Varimax rotation) was performed. Cluster ANALYSIS with Ward’s method, arranged hybrids into five different groups.

Abstract: 

In order to study effect of drought stress on morphologic traits, yield and yield components of 28 new hybrids of corn to heat and drought stress in addition 6 commercial hybrid (as control), an experiment was carried out on based of complete randomized block design with three replication under normal irrigation and drought stress in Khorasan Razavi Agricultural Research and Natural Resources Institute Mashhad, Iran on 2010. Results of ANALYSIS of variance showed that in both condition there are significant different between all hybrids for all traits. Results of hybrid means comparison with Duncan’s multiple range test showed that in normal irrigation condition S.C500 hybrid and in stress condition N.11 hybrid was better than others in yield trait (13.79 and 5.69 respectively). Genetic CORRELATION between traits under stress condition showed that number of kernel in row was the highest CORRELATION with yield and in normal irrigation ear diameter was higher than other traits correlated. The results showed that under no stress conditions, hybrids with the mean number of ear per plants that have more thick ear, heavier and more kernel per row and the same time have a lower percentage of wood, will be higher in total yield. Generally, according to results of path ANALYSIS, review and compare traits affecting grain yield in two environments can be concluded that plant traits in maize, kernel weight per ear, ear weight and percentage of kernel, deficit quickly affected and determining the limitations of plant production. Breeding for these traits can be obstacles on the path taken from the performance and the ultimate goal of increasing performance in low-Irrigation conditions.

Abstract: 

Due to the importance of increasing the yield and complexity and the effect of this trait on environmental impacts and lack of water resources, the present study aims to study the relationship between yield and its components, ANALYSIS of CORRELATION coefficients between traits and determination of the most important traits in rice yield in two conditions without stress and Drought stress was used to identify the effective indices for improving the grain yield of rice on foreign rice germplasms in two different conditions in the Latis design at Gonbad-e-Kavas University. The results of ANALYSIS of variance showed that there is a significant difference between genotypes for all traits. A SIMPLE CORRELATION between traits showed that grain yield in irrigated condition had the highest positive CORRELATION with grain weight trait and then with main panicle weight trait. In drought stress condition, grain yield had the highest CORRELATION with filled grain weight, filled grain number and harvest index. In order to investigate and determine the causal relationships of traits entered into the regression model with each other and with the yield s, path ANALYSIS was performed and it was determined that the highest direct and positive effects on grain yield in irrigated and stress conditions were related to the grain weight. Cluster ANALYSIS, the Ward method was categorized genotypes into four distinct groups in both conditions without stress and stress. In this research, two traits of filled grain weight and number of fertilized tillers had the highest direct relation and the lowest negative CORRELATION was obtained through other traits with grain yield. Therefore, these two traits can be introduced as an indirect selection criterion for grain yield.

In drought stress condition ear weight and 300 kernel weights had highest and lowest direct effect on yield respectively. Also the highest negative indirect effect on yield belonged to kernel number per row through ear length.

هدف از اجرای این طرح آماده سازی کد مورد نیاز برای نرم افزار چاه آزمایی و همچنین تهیه نرم افزاری جهت محاسبه خواص سیالات مخزن توسط روابط تجربی است. جهت کد نویسی این برنامه از زبان ویژوال بیسیک استفاده شده است. روابط تجربی موجود در کتب مختلف جمع آوری و بهترین و دقیق ترین آنها جهت استفاده در نرم افزار انتخاب شده اند. کاربر با انتخاب نام رابطه تجربی که غالبا نام شخص ابداع کننده آن است می تواند مقادیر خواص سیالات نفتی (آب، نفت، و گاز) را محاسبه نماید. نتایج حاصل از این طرح جهت استفاده در نرم افزار چاه آزمایی مود استفاده قرار می گیرد. به علاوه، این نرم افزار به تنهایی نیز می تواند به عنوان یک نرم افزار stand alone بکار رود.

Abstract: 

A new reliable SIMPLE model is presented for estimating the autoignition temperatures (AITs) of different classes of hydrocarbons including alkanes, alkenes, cycloalkanes, cycloalkenes, alkynes, and aromatics. For various categories of hydrocarbons with general formula Ca1Ha2, the new CORRELATION can be expressed as: AIT=647+33.33a1 −20.79a2 +58.20F SH+81.03F BH where two functions F SH and F BH are related to size and branches of different classes of hydrocarbons, respectively. The proposed SIMPLE model can predict the AIT of any complex hydrocarbons through the knowledge of their molecular structures. The novel CORRELATION is derived and tested for a large number of hydrocarbons including 274-compound database, which is the largest dataset with respect to previous works. It is shown that the estimated results of the new method have a lower root mean square deviation of AIT as compared to three of the best available predictive methods.
